Melbourne, Australia, November 17, 2025: Vinyl Group Limited (ASX: VNL) today announces that it will place its Jaxsta product into hibernation, effective from December 17, as part of ongoing efforts to focus resources on the company’s highest-growth business units and broader profitability target.

Jaxsta, launched to bring transparency and recognition to the music industry, built the world’s largest database of official music credits through direct partnerships with leading rights holders and distributors. Learnings from this platform have strengthened the Group’s industry relationships, broader approach to data and creator products, including Vampr and Serenade. However, the standalone licensing model was not scalable in its present form.

The decision to hibernate Jaxsta will reduce operating expenses and allow reinvestment for other parts of the Vinyl Group portfolio - including Vinyl Media, Vinyl.com, Serenade and Vampr - all of which continue to deliver strong growth and momentum. While the reduction in expenses will positively impact our cash flow, this move will not materially impact Group revenue, with Jaxsta contributing 0.58% to the top-line last quarter.

Vinyl Group will retain Jaxsta’s proprietary technology as a valuable long-term asset, in particular its innovative work on musical works to recording matching. Together with Songtradr, a key stakeholder, the company remains committed to exploring innovative and more transparent ways for the music industry to track and collect royalties.

All current paying customers have been notified, with prorated refunds being processed, and API clients supported through a smooth transition period.
