Sydney, Australia, September 16, 2025: Vinyl Media, the publishing division of Vinyl Group (ASX: VNL), today announces a series of internal promotions and structural changes as it gears up for the final quarter of the year with a renewed focus on commercial alignment and operational efficiency.

The restructure sees Batoul Peters appointed Chief Business Officer, Vinyl Media, following her instrumental role in scaling the commercial division across the group’s premium publishing portfolio. Peters will now oversee business and commercial operations across Vinyl Media titles including Rolling Stone AU/NZ, Variety Australia, Concrete Playground, The Music Network and Refinery29.

She will be supported by Jack Castles, who has been promoted to Head of Commercial Partnerships, ANZ. In this role, Castles will be responsible for shaping commercial strategy and brand partnerships across Vinyl Media’s publishing network.

On the publishing front, Vinyl Media has prioritised scaling its multi-platform audience in 2025, growing from 34.5 million views since launching in February to 115 million views in July. Driving this success has been Neil Griffiths, who has been promoted to Editor-in-Chief, Vinyl Media & Rolling Stone AU/NZ. In this expanded role, Griffiths will oversee content strategy across all owned and operated mastheads, shaping editorial direction, brand voice, and audience engagement, while continuing to lead Rolling Stone AU/NZ. Supporting this evolution, Sarah Chapman has been promoted to Head of Editorial Operations. Chapman will focus on streamlining workflows, strengthening consistency, and fostering collaboration across Vinyl Media’s editorial ecosystem.

The company has also made a series of additional promotions recognising excellence across its streamlined operations.

Vinyl Media and Group CEO, Josh Simons, said: “The first half of this year saw our investment in publishing pay off, with multi-platform views up almost 250%. With this inventory secured and growing, the next phase will be about increasing our content output and scaling our revenue streams. We look forward to expanding on this alongside the imminent launch of our AI strategy.”

Peters added: “This restructure is about sharpening focus ahead of the Christmas sprint and ensuring we have the right people in the right roles to deliver strong outcomes for our brand partners and audiences. Each of these team members has demonstrated the initiative, creativity, and rigour we need for this next phase.”

These changes follow a record-breaking year of cultural and commercial growth across Vinyl Media’s properties, including the return of Refinery29 Australia, the 2025 Rolling Stone Awards, and multi-channel partnerships with a wide range of brands.

In FY25, parent company Vinyl Group reported revenue growth of 190% to $14.4M, driven by a three-fold increase in Vinyl Media revenue following four acquisitions throughout the year and a nearly two-fold increase in Vinyl Group’s technology platform revenues through organic growth.
